Model Homes

I want to live in a model home
where the fruit in the bowl never rots,
where the floor never loses its sheen.
The gardens never have burrows
and the attic never hosts any form of papillon.
My wife
and our 2.5 kids make up the nuclear family
and we live and we love and we pray
in our very own model home.
